CleanMax Solar is the largest provider of on-site solar power in India with more than 75 projects totalling over 50 MWp. The developer offers turnkey solar solutions, providing power on a per-kWh basis, under long-term Power Purchase Agreements, typically at rates cheaper than grid tariffs. CleanMax Solar also installs solar power plants on a capex basis, and can supply “off-site” solar power through open access in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The company can install solar power plants on almost any roof type as well as on unused land within your premises.
Ranked #1 in Bridge to India’s “India Rooftop Solar Map 2016”
For the second consecutive year, CleanMax Solar has ranked #1 in Bridge to India’s “India Rooftop Solar Map 2016”, the industry’s primary source of market data. CleanMax Solar has widened its market share lead over the #2 developer, now with a more than 2-to-1 margin over the it’s nearest competitor, beating out smaller players such as Amplus Solar, Azure Power, Cleantech Solar, Rays Experts, Jakson, SunTerrace, Welspun, Hero Future Energies, Renew Power, Fourth Partner, SunShut, Sunipod, and others. While many of the competition has shifted from last year’s report, CleanMax’s status as industry leader has only solidified as SunEdison, last year’s #2 player, has exited the industry. The EPC category was led by Tata Power Solar, and included other regional EPC players such as Torp.
Karnataka’s First Solar Farm
CleanMax has also set up Karnataka’s first solar farm, beating competitors like Renew Power, Atria Power, Mytrah, Fortum and Bosch to the finish line by commissioning its project in March 2016, and is currently the only developer with an operational plant there, more than 6 months later. CleanMax uses its own sales team to engage its clients, rather than going through power traders such as Manikaran Power.
